As from today 21.09.08 it has been decided that it will not be permitted to run whilst wearing any kind of audio equipment when competing in any Jersey Spartan AC event. This includes the Half Marathon, Spring and Autumn 10k's and all club road and cross country races. This is mainly on Health and Safety grounds as we believe that it makes things more dangerous for the user as cars, bikes etc. can't be heard. Also, they could be used for pacing/motivation/alleviating boredom and it's the runner's job to do those things.
